Established on April 20, 1995, the Kansas Organization for Victim Assistance (KOVA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote fair treatment for victims of crime.
KOVA is dedicated to protecting the rights of crime victims and prevention of victimization through advocacy, education, and leadership.

Membership is open to any individual, organization, or student committed to addressing the needs of crime victims. As an organization of individuals and professionals committed to ending violence, KOVA stands against racism and injustice in all forms. Antiracism is central to the work of our organization.
